Well! I've got most of the woods background done. Taken a lot longer than I thought. Not sure if I've put that much detail into any one picture before. My fiancee is even wanting to have it framed So I'd say it's definitely on the plus side. I thank you all for your compliments and encouragement on this project.

The image does tile, and I've made it my desktop background after changing the image height to match my screen height and then tiled to fill it in left/right.

Don't no one explode yet! Hopefully more to come!

Nice work. I'd rather use this technique on something original rather than copying Keen 4 assets, but it's your choice :)

Meaning Keen's death animation sprites. All 2 of 'em! I'd imagine that'll be fun to work on.

I haven't quite quit on this one yet. Working on the running animation sprites right now. Got 3 of the 4 done today. Hopefully will have something at least by next week, although i don't like time restraints when I've little time to devote to it as it is.

One thing I've had to fix is Keens head isn't the same size in all the frames.
Moving slow still but getting somewhere at least.

Update: 5/13/2011

Was tough getting it to animate. I still don't think it's looking right yet, but it's some progress. I'd love to see it all completed though as anyone else here might. Was a lot easier just drawing backgrounds with less to improvise with.

Second update tonight:
Here's what it might look like, but couldn't get the free online animator to go any faster than this. The one I used to use isn't around anymore.

Lots of stuff to fix still. Head is turned too much in the last frame and the arms are too bulky, to name a few issues.

Give me a series of images, numbered sequentially in the filename, and the desired framerate and I'll give you your animated gif...
