Okay.. I figured out what you're saying. Somehow I missed it earlier. The screen is just taller, not wider as I was thinking.
Working on the trees today, It's easier than doing the keen sprites, but is taking some time to clean up the original.

Well, you COULD always scale them up 5x and 6x... but then you'd just be doing too much extra spriting... And our computers would crash.
Combine Garg and Apples in a bowl, simmer over medium heat for several years. Season with a pinch of regret.

Yeah, keep those graphics and make more. If CG supports more Keen Galaxy Features we might open support for high-resolution images tiles and sprites. Awesome work

That looks awesome!
I never noticed how creepy and soul-less keen looked with that bleached white skin and those beady eyes, though.
Maybe the Keen universe takes place after Ghostbusters, in a future where Stay Puft annihilates the human race and repopulates it with his own flesh.

The non-sprite art looks really nice, but Keen looks rather weird, especially his arm. Like it's pulled back too far.
Member since at least 1998 with... ah... some long absences. I was even a moderator at one point . I'll probably keep coming back here and there as long as this place still exists.

What I marvel at is how much this looks like Flash/vector art, and how it isn't until closer examination that one realizes that it's 16-color pixel art, dithering and all. Truly beautiful, keep it up.

Making some progress on the trees but it's going slow.
I think it looks much better than earlier after changing some of the dithering.
I threw it on Photobucket as I didn't want to make another DeviantArt post. The image is a bit over the limit so it's auto-rescaled. You can still see some of the dithering, but the general colors are still represented.
