Bumping this thread to say Marta1 is estimated to be around 90% done. Actually, it has been since the end of April, but Para and I just haven't touched it since. I don't have any adequate excuse for it, except "I just didn't feel like it" and "WHEN IT'S DONE."
To be honest, the one practical setback holding this up is a need for some advanced sprite patching. The tank and butler robot replacements just won't die as it is, and considering what they are it just doesn't make sense for them to be immortal (I even made death frames for them). According to Lass, this kind of patching is not impossible, and she said she'd be working on the sprite making wiki pages to make it easier for us modding noobs.
Almost all the levels are complete, except the few remaining to be done by either Paramultart or StupidBunny, which isn't many (4). If it gets desperate enough I may make the maps myself, or cut the non-existing levels entirely. Oh, and the world map is still in the rough stages.
In the meantime I've been diverting my efforts to... something else... which I may reveal in another thread in the near future.
It's too bad this 'easter mod' is getting pushed into a Summer release, Jazz Jackrabbit references and all

Balmy Bounders, it seems like only last week this thread was made. My how time does fly! Great to hear this mod is almost finished. As a matter a fact, I was editing my 4MSC0000.BIN file last night for my Keen 4 mod. I totally forgot about this one. Now I can add it to the list of Keen mods to check out. Advertisements, you know.

Didn't Jazz time travel at least once J1 and J2?VikingBoyBilly wrote:Jazz Jackrabbit wasn't even born yet. It's his ancestor.
But it's good to know this project is still going at a reasonable pace!
