Nothing very exciting to report; I've been busy the last couple weeks. Still have some sprites to finish animating. Been tinkering with platform sets: 3/5 are in level designing condition (still no levels ). I've been trying to add unique tile 'instances' to these sets to add variety.

So, it's been over a year, time for an update. There are a couple of reasons for the long hiatus, especially since things seemed so close: I've been working a new job (12 hour shifts, 50 hours a week), and Lemm and I have been waiting for the Keen source code. I'm still with this job, but due to Lemm's mad programming skills, the source code is no longer needed and I'm starting to dust this mod off.
Sign of the Vool will no longer be a Keen 4 mod, but will utilize the same game engine as Atroxian Realm. This opens a lot of doors on what were otherwise modding limitations, however, this game will still play very much like Keen Galaxy with more enemies, more levels, more graphics, and new abilities.
I've still got many tiles to do, will be expanding the world map (the previous nearly complete version was roughly the same size as Keen 4). I'll be creating more enemies than I initially planned, with maybe 50% of the animations complete. Level design hasn't been started yet.
Without further ado, here's the freshly developed title screen!

Lemm, bringer of life(water) for mods. Good to see this going again.
The to do list sounds rather big, but what it represents in new exploration and expansion of Keen adventures is very, very neat. You, Gridlock, Lemm and all involved in the new engine are true Keen pioneers.
The title screen is cool, but It'd reconsider how the teeth are done - I know a straight line in that perspective is technically correct, but it looks a little strange to me.

I was playing with the lips and never got past using the eraser. There are no changes to colouring and it's far from perfect, but this is just a suggestion.
