Had some fun last night on #KeenModding testing Keen 1 with Fantomx11, Lemm, and Scarlet. After finding some hilarious bugs, Keen 1 is about ready to go and I've started Keen 2 levelling.

I don't see any artifacts. What makes you think it was a jpeg at one point?

Ah, good point. Well then, over-enlarged. It's just too big and unclear/lacking definition... thought that could just be at my end.

I suspect that is from trying to encompass 3 episodes in a single tileset

I...realy have no idea what you're talking about Keening Product. It's just the tileset for anyone who wants to work with it.

Keen 2 Progress:
A relatively faithful copy of keen 2's first level:

Keen 2 will use these purple crystal items for life points, pulled from Keen 3, since Keen 2 doesn't really have any extra, item-like tiles. Some may have noticed, Keen 1 uses 'glowy orbs' that were used for a tile in the "About id" section of Keen 1, and Keen 3 will use Ankhs.

Those look amazing Ceilick, the transposition to Galaxy-style is so much more seamless than I could have expected! Can't wait to see these in action.

@Keening_Product I think what you might be seeing as lack of definition is that, in Chrome at the very least, when you zoom in on a picture, it blurs it a little in an effort to do a 'smart resize' in order that a picture won't look pixellated. Obviously this is fine for a photograph but not for a load of 16 colour 16x16 tiles!

It has been so long since I played keen2... but do all the levels have that blueish floor, or not?

I think so, although there are some darker levels that use coloured girder-like tiles as the dominant platform type, like the one with the bridge over the energy cells.

That blurriness looks like something on your end. it isn't blurry for me.
