Wow, soon we'll have a keen game in every genre
One could easily make a Captain Quazar style adventure shooter with these graphics.

Well, wiivn decided it's a lake monster...so I'll just flow with that...if that's how wiivn interpreted it...though it might be just the need to make him as a hidden "easter egg" in the April's Fools image...to sink him down, as it's too big and obvious fullsize.
But now it's forever lake associated, so I can't change that :) If you can't beat them - join them :)

I only gave general permission to use my art in unspecified April's Fool pun, I took no part in any of the image design of the pun.
There's alot of algae in a lake, so algaer? (algae + monster)
I don't even know what algaer is...maaan you don't make it easy on non-native english speakers....
Using Lockness as a reference to monsters works too (which I assume Messie was in reference to back in Keen 3).
Good idea....Loki? :) :) :) LokNees? Neslok?

Last time I counted your instances - you are one...person... ;)
You are the One, Neo! :) :) :)

...I'm still sad you said you won't make NetBomberKeen :(
This has nice potentials.

Arachnut was indeed the main inspiration for this one, yes, it was made to fit as Arachnut replacement. But visually, I think it pretty much stands on it's own....clawlegs....or whatever that is.
I think I've made it my avatar after it was not included in ckcm - despite deserving to be there in my opinion.

Tunchara
Why? What's the words it implies?

I liked the Lockness monster ideas so far the most.
Neslok, Loknees...Loknees I like the most so far. Any objections?

Well, think about the "inverted Arachnut" part especially... ;)

It's a great looking creature. Especially well-drawn with excellent pixel placement. I'm quite fond of it. And though it's your creature, here are some suggestions from me based on its dangerously sharp appearance:
Brambler
Prickely
Stickler
Creature-from-the-backyard-lagoon
Meetroid
Pokipine
Shredlock(ness)
Needleless
Ooch
Tearific (who lives in the Pacific, if it is indeed a water-creature)
Cissers
Deargodwhatisthatthing

Oh, thank you :) It has animation frames too.
I've made alof of creatures for the CKCM, but those just gain dust unused by other modders. I love the foot creature and quite some others. I know some might think it's just for CKCM - but that's not much progressing as I see (?). Maybe someone will just uze those for their mods...ckcm can use those later legardless....
I loved the Beegmoz (inventing names on the fly :), the Big Mouth ), the Leezmonk (lizard + monk), the Scoorp (scorpion), the Bolseye (EyeBalls Hopper, pun on "bullseye"), Froogle (frog + bubble)........
And though it's your creature, here are some suggestions from me based on its dangerously sharp appearance:
It's amazing and very interesting to see how different modders interpret/see the same Sprite in such different ways...maybe we'll give names for other ckcm monsters I've made :)

Some funny ideas -
Notaclaw (pun on "not a clue") :) - or Lotaclaw
Clawless (pun on clueless) :) or Clawmore/Clomor
Clawlimb
Limboclaw/Leemboclore
Shredlock(ness)
Maaan, TMNT meets Lockness :)
Ooch
Ouchlimb?

I don't know why, but the word Behemoth come to my mind. I didn't saw it particularly for a lake monster though.

Where can we see your monsters?

Behemoth reminds me russian word "Beghemot(h)" - Hippopotamus...which is a water animal as well.
The word itself is Bible inspired.

Me neither :)

CKCM threads on Keen modding forum.

Some of them (there are more frames and creatures etc)

Yeah :)
Don't know why this mod is stalled then.
Memory problems? Latest SDL Keen 1 has none (?)

Probably got stalled for lack of mappers and tilemakers.
