Indeed, I can't see anything particularly versatile over the existing code (Mind, I've not SEEN the existing code.)

School and work have been crazy lately but rest assured I'm still making progress! I've been adding the main menus and stuff that goes along with that, making it so you can pause the game and all that. Also just redid the hover board today, so I'm not using the one from keen 4 anymore. Been fighting to get the board to work better too. Also after reading the keen 9 thread i decided to add the "surfing pose" from keen 5.

Anyway here's a picture =)

Haha, awesome. If you think about adding a new aspect to the game, why not put in a steerable hoverboard in some level, similar to the Jazz Jackrabbit one.

That would be pretty awesome: I imagine keen would 'plug in' his pogostick to some kind of hoverboard, turning it into a flying scooter.

I am definitely looking forward to this being released. I hope we will have extra lives, secret areas, secret passages, secret level, and some interesting enemies!

All but the last are default options for a mod.

And that's exactly why this is not a mod. ;)

Downloads Broken

Post by Shilor »

Heya guys, anyone have a copy of the latest release of this mod? I noticed the website it was hosted on has gone down hence the broken links in this thread.

Anyone got a zip file they can send me or post up somewhere? I'd like to re-ad it to my website and for some reason have lost my local copy :confused

THIS IS AWESOME!

Thanks Shilor for re-opening this thread. This feels so much like the real Keen engine! With some Xargon mapping.
