So I started working on the sonic mod (prequel to Billy The Blazehog) and I have a few possible designs for Sonic's appearance in the mod.

I'm opening a poll to be considerate of everyone's preferences. The design with the highest votes will be used in the mod (unless I decide otherwise).

Against all pixel-art logic, #3, light blue with no outlines or shading, somehow looks the best.

I'm all for light blue with outlines (#4).
I always thought the pocket adventure sprite could fit the ega-palette best.

The problem that I see with the black outlines on #1 and #4 is that they add bulk to Sonic, making him seem fluffier. #3 seems to be the best, edging out #5 because the colors just display better.

The tater trooper video wouldn't play, but these are all awesome.

I made sprites for vorticons mods, though, and I'd need to make new Sonic sprites for galaxy mods.
