Hey everyone! I've found motivation again!

I've been composing a few musical ideas I have for episode 1 and episode 3 (Sorry, episode 2 hasn't come up with any really good ideas so far, musical, or otherwise, and I'm missing one more alien character to put into the story.), and I have some other ideas already made from COSEDIT.

I have episode 2 and 3's title screens locked (no more editing), but episode 1's idea still isn't solid.

In other news, I've noticed that making backgrounds can be very easy when it comes to Earth locations, especially rural/suburban locations. Even city locations can be easy, since we have so many trees here. XD

Maybe when Keen Day 2015 rolls around, you can get a glimpse of what I've been working on.

What day would Cosmo day be on?

Well, Cosmo was released March 23rd, 1992 (Why do I know that?)...

I find it easier to draw mountains and trees.

That would make a good cadence; Keen day on 3/14, Cosday on 3/23 (Or 3/24.)

Hey everyone!

I have a few more enemy sprites put together for the first episode, but I'm running into a music problem, and the modding tool I need isn't available.

I put together a nice music piece for the bonus levels, but unfortunately the file size is way too large for the game's memory. (I start having graphics problems at around 30 KB, the file size is 41 KB.)

If anyone has a copy of IMFCrush by k1n9_duk3, I really need it in order to get this song to work correctly in-game.

Ok, problem's been solved.

It's difficult enough to make a mod, but I have to manage good-sounding music and memory myself.

Sorry, everyone. Nothing for Keen Day this year.

New previews will be available next week, since we've essentially made a new game day: Cosday, March 23rd (The day Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure was released in 1992.).

The entire game is still in the bare-bones stage. It's not easy when I'm the only one making this mod.

Don't despair, look at me, or Spleen. You're positively a steam engine in comparison.

Keep going, it's a very interesting project. :) It'll be nice to see the new previews.

Happy First Cosday 2015!

As a dumpy Homestar Runner character once said (edited for today):
"Thank you! Thank you! I'm simultaneously honored and insulted to be involved in this event's inauguration!"

Unfortunately at the moment, I'm a bit conflicted about releasing a beta copy of the game with music and all, because I don't know the legality of releasing non-run-time-modified game code. (Even if it is shareware.)

Really? Since the significance of your project is too low for companies to even bother and is practically limited to this forum, you can relax and release it.

I noticed this is on the "Unofficial Keen Games" forum.

I hear that T-Squared is going to replace Duke with Keen, so it'll be okay.
