Well, I'm working on a gold edition of Martinez McMeyer, which will contain features from episode 1,2,3.
Amount of levels will be 15 exactly: 5 Frostian V, 5 Hellion X, 5 Electricus XII levels. Enemies will be back as well as Collapser Keen, who you don't have to defeat, because only his ghost will be there.

You will be able to play as two Martinez characters: the one looks like in episode 1-3, the other (current) one looks like in episode 4. (Thanks to Levellass.)


P.S. I still need some patches, but Levellass is still not here, so I have to wait (I don't know how long). I'm worried about her and I'm even anxious.

I think it would need more extras to be considered "gold" edition.

Some ideas:

- 32 level patch
- easy, normal, hard, and challenge difficulty batches (challenge mode has points reset when you die)
- Music

- 32 level patch doesn't exist for Keen Dreams
- there'll be only normal difficult due to the two Mart characters
- music cannot be put in Keen Dreams (neither with patch)
- I'll need Levellass' help for these if I wanna make (let's suppose)

I thought this was the first Martinez trilogy (vorticons mods)?

Gold edition will be a Keen Dreams mod.

Without pogo and phasers, won't the game be changed significantly enough to warrant an entirely new release? Or are you keeping the maps?

No worldmap due to the second Mart character, so you will enter the levels like in Bio Menace.

Will the level maps be the same?

Nope, that'd be boring and unoriginal. I made new levels.

So this is actually a remake, not an "edition."

It's an edition as I bring everything back from episode 1,2,3.

Okay, but Unreal Gold, for example, was the same game, but included a new episode and an extra "godlike" skill level.

Like Ultimate Doom, which is Doom 1 with a 4th episode.

This is a mashup of the first three games ported to a new engine. Possibly a reimagining or something.
