Hey tulip, I had a look at that german site and it looks pretty cool. There are reviews of mods I've never seen before, like Isis 2 and infinity. But there is no download link for them... Where can I download them?

I'd suggest Beyond the Pogo, which is I think at dosclassics.com, but a lot of the links there are broken and it hasn't been updated in a few years. I don't remember who it is but somebody on this forum has produced a lovely collection of Keen mods (not fangames though)...I feel stupid for not remembering just now. :o

CK666 The "mods" you are referring to, are fangames, and yes you can find them on Beyond the Pogo. Look under Fangames (Abandoned Fangames, since Isis II sadly is discontinued)
I'm not sure about Infinity, if it isn't on Beyond the Pogo, you might mail the owner of the german site (yes, you can write in english) to send you the game:

Yeah sorry, I used the wrong term.

Yesterday I went for the first time in the abandoned mods on beyond the pogo (I've never been in that section because it said most of the abandoned fan games are bad.) and I downloaded Isis II. As for Infinity, I didn't see it there... I'll try to email the author. But is it finished?

Surely not, there's probably a level or two, but don't expect more.

While you're trying fangames, you might like to play Asino's Uphail:
http://www.dosclassics.com/download/19, which is pretty good I think. (dont forget to install the codec)

I have already. Honestly, I think it is boring. Kinda bland levels, the monsters act all the same, eh... At least they got nice sprites, but that's about it. When I downloaded it I was expecting A LOT more. My favourite fan game has to be http://www.dosclassics.com/download/16. It's too bad it doesn't have the save game option.[/url]

I made one on the Keenwiki:

Topic here (let's keep discussion in one place):

Just thought I'd mention, I found that I had "Infinity" on my hard drive, so I added a download link to the wiki article. It's a really OLD game, from 1999! Seems to be a precursor to "The Mystery of Isis II". The German website has some screenshots that confirm it:

Unfortunately, I can't find a way to get it to run, and neither could tulip.

I have the same problem, what IS it with fangame engines and not working properly?
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.
