Mazes of Doom

Post by JM2008 » Wed Dec 10, 2008 19:11

Just a game I've been working on for a bit, it isn't fully finished yet, still in the making, going to be a maze game with items to get so you can unlock the door to the next level, four levels done, maybe some tweaking needed to one or two, maybe 20 levels will be in the game. Hopefully to add some death traps too.

And I assume it features Keen, right? :) Anyway, we're missing a real maze game with Keen, so this could prove to be interesting. I'm not too good with difficult mazes, though. :o

Always looking forward to a new keen game. Will it be 3d or top view?

It will be a top view featuring Keen as the player. Keen will enter mazes where traps or monsters await him. There will be between 20 and 21 levels.

I've narrowed it down to 15 levels. It seems completed. Now where can I upload it?

You could try rapidshare, or wherever those guys on KeenModding upload their stuff, or u know, whatever. (I'm not too up-to-date on the hottest upload sites these days) :o

I don't think anyone should use rapidshare, it sucks really. You have to wait until you get a download gate, you only can download a very limited amount of files in an hour. Well, OK, downloads are relatively fast.

I'm using mediafire, which is fast, has a virus scanner and has no download limits (at least I never encountered one, so I guess the limit must be very high).[/quote]

If you like, you could have an account on my CKFS file storage thing. Maybe it should be linked to somewhere more obvious...

Eh, if it isn't Grafix! Long time no see.

Forgot about the test account, it would be a good option for seeding this download. But it would be wise to sort out an account for yourself for future use.

Only problem is that I set up the test account to delete all files on logout, so probably not. Eventually I plan to create a proper sign-up process with Keen-related questions, like the one here.

It has been a while since I've been here, hasn't it? The board tells me I haven't posted since November of last year - that would have been all the schoolwork that piled up around then, and never really got shifted until the end of the academic year in June (at which point I left for most of the summer).
