It's almost only a head, haha. Awesome.

EDIT: I'm playing it in CloneKeenPlus, and he doesn't seem to be able to move... Is this normal?

I don't know. I don't quite know how to make Clone Keen work on my computer (win XP... the most I got was the episode menu... :dead ). I ran it with and without dosbox and it works fine either way. :confused

What version of Keen is this mod meant to be? It crashes out the graphics on 1.31.

I did this:
- Make a new folder "chibikeen" in ckp/data.
- Extract ChibiKeen in this folder.
- Copy all CK1 files to this folder too (not overwriting the three from ChibiKeen).
- Add this to games.cfg:

Code: Select all

[ChibiKeen]
Name=ChibiKeen
Path=chibikeen
Episode=1
That seems to work... Except he can't walk on most floors (but then again he can walk on the shiny blue things at the beginning of the first level... Weird).

Am I even supposed to make a second copy of all CK1 data files?

EDIT: By the way, I believe these are either 1.31 or 1.34 data files... I don't remember. Also, I put Keen 1 to 3 in seperate folders in the data folder and identify them as so:

Code: Select all

[Episode 1]
Name=Episode 1 - Marooned on mars
Path=keen1
Episode=1

[Episode 2]
Name=Episode 2 - The earth explodes
Path=keen2
Episode=2

[Episode 3]
Name=Episode 3 - Keen must die
Path=keen3
Episode=3
I'm mostly posting this info because I linked gerstrong to the topic. :p

This is turning out to be one glitchy endeavor. :dead2

I have no real idea what's wrong.

I still can't get past the episode choice menu. Maybe it's just my old, crappy XP computor? :dead

Sorry guys, but isn't the readme file clear enough for the configuration?

You should be able to setup your mods and games with those instructions. If I have to change something on that file, let me know.

I've been told that this is because the sprite size of Keen is different and the size is currently hardcoded in CKP... It'll be fixed in two versions or so. :)

According to the readme, I have to "Go into the 'Release' folder and drop to the command line." I probably have to make the release folder myself, but I'm not sure what it means by "drop to the command line." :confused I'm not much of a programmer, so yeah... :crazy

You are helping, though, so thanks for your help. :)

The first two steps should do it for Windows users.

Go into the "Release" folder and drop to the command line. doesn't explain much at all actually, it's probably there to indicate how you need to run renlower.sh on Linux or something.

@Bonevelous: Hello there

I was checking your sprite and liked it. Just cute.

With CKP 0.2.8.0a you should be able to use your graphics. Tell me, if it's okay that way. I'm going to upload the files right now!
