i had to much time :p

now you have another mod to forward for (i think thats nr.4?)
currently named keen s , but it might change (or i might not)

3 levels are done, and about 1/8 of the graphics (and because i don't like making graphics that much, it won't grow not more then needed).

(i post(ed) a new thread about some patch i would like at keen1 (it wil be me first keen1 mod)

what to expect?
-a flashy worldmap (take this serious :p)
-An invisible enemy (if posssible)
-some challenging levels (after completing keenq, keenz and a new dope, what do you expect :))
-much less tile rips (lol, i wil try making everything (but for now 2) myself)

*goes of posting requesting patches*

So what mods do we have coming soon?

1) Keen 8- Dead in the Desert from Ceilick [Keen 6]
2) The Grand Intellect 2- Fathership Revenge from Szemi [Keen 2]
3) The Grand Intellect 3- Cybernetic Dream from Szemi [Keen 3]
4) Keen s from Shikadi [Keen 1]
5) Justice and Freedom from JM2008 [Keen 3]

Am I missing anyone?

I remember HoboRed was going to do a Keen 1 levelpack. I could have sworn he was going to call it Chrisis something, but he spelled crisis wrong adding an H. Henrock431 was doing a fangame called R.O.C.K. (Recreation of Commander Keen) and Levellass is supposedly getting Keeners together to do an Episode Smile levelpack. So it seems we have some games to look forward to.

Back on topic: Please tell us a little bit about your mod. Wait... you already did! :foot

those blue pipes you see on the screen make up a good portion of all levels (which means you lose a lot of sight.), is that enough information?
(nobody wants to speculate about the picture :dopekeen )

Syllypryde: there's also Spleens monkey business(keen 1 and 2?), levellass' Zoltan's Revenge(keen 4), and Herry Jerry's Ancients of Tantsoliii (keen4).

Shikadi: Cool color useage, I'd suggest making at least your foreground pipes have a black outline though. Also the enemies are kind of...weird. I can't tell what they are, but they remind me of those chicken things in monster bash.

I figured I was missing some mods. With a couple of Keen 4 mods on the way, it looks like "The Dude" might finally have some competition. :mortlol

I agree. No offense to any of the Vorticon mods, but as good as many of them are, I am a Galaxy Keener. My favorite Keen games are Keens 4-6. So I was already highly biased towards TKOK before I had even seen it. It was nice to know I was not disappointed. The majority of the mods I have played I have liked. I will continue to play Keen 1-3 mods, but it is nice to finaly (haha) see some Galaxy mods coming our way.

Back on topic: Shikadi, you are been evolving as a modder. I am looking forward to playing your new mod.

You have evolved graphically. Your level designs have always been good and your difficulty is just right, not too easy and not too hard. Your graphics and creature replacements were great in DTTV 3. I am sure you will continue that tradition in your forthcoming mod.

There's also my second mod (and eventually 3, 4, 5, and 6... assuming my brain doesn't completely fry by then, trying to pump out all these levels)
But, uh... no one cares anyway! 8)

Back on topic... the game looks incredibly disorienting. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, though. :p

In Shikadi's case, I think disorienting might be a good thing.

Yes. Although I don't like that title too much, so I might end up changing it.

What is wrong with the title? Personally, I like it.
