We can ask you the same thing about your question.

Oh? So it seems you are content with people talking garg in this thread over and over again. My post was as apt as it could have been.

This thread should just be killed, unless by some strange reason Ceilick decides to post more previews.

Okay, so the topic is reopened due to the delay in release. As I stated in the thread which requested this unlocking:

Battle of the Brains was supposed to be released months ago and has been mostly in a state of completion.

At this moment we're waiting for one more part to be completed. Since the person responsible is inexplicably not responding to requests for the status of their work, we're getting someone else to complete it. However, if for whatever reason the person responsible reads this, PLEASE contact me and let me know whats up.

Prerelease previews are a possibility I will discuss with Mink and Tulip, and I'm glad they were suggested since it's been at least two months.

To address Cuetlachtli's request in the other thread,
Cuetlachti wrote:change the sound of picking the ammo because it is much louder than other sounds
I'd prefer not to change the sound, even to lower the volume for several reasons. I'd like it to sound the same as episodes 4-8, I'm not sure lowering the volume is possible without changing the sound completely, and the project has a lot of issues with sounds already.

Well, in my opinion, I could care less about sound effects :) . I'm not sure about everyone else, but I think we just want to play the awesomeness :p

Meh, personally I've never been that bothered - it's just another mod...

There could always be a re-release with new stuff added later, and maybe a basic "episode selector" program could be compiled to run all three.

For that matter, the first release of KoK did not even have new sound effects or new music... If you can get the new sounds done quickly, that'd be cool, but I'm glad you stopped waiting on Levellass' answers, I don't care if she has a valid reason or not but posting on the forums and ignoring your PMs shows she couldn't care less about it.

Don't give out incomplete man! Don't!

Another level clip preview though would be nice. :)

IIRC she told us months ago she's having problems paying her rent or something, and is denied her internet connection if not paid in time. So instead of pointing your finger at her, you should find a different way to solve the problems.

Good to see this discussion re-opened. Hopefully people will be a little more respectful now and stick to the matter at hand.

I would like to see another preview since the game is still not out yet, but at the same time, I don't want to have too much given away. I would say, if you decide to complete the last part before releasing another preview would be a good idea. If you decide to release right away with out the last part in place, I'd say the preview would be unnecessary.

Wrong. She posts on the forums without problems. If she has the time to do that, she also has the time to at least answer to Ceilick's PMs. If she doesn't reply to the PMs, that simply means she doesn't want to/does not care about them.

is the final piece really that needed? i mean, if it is vital, then we could wait a while longer. if not, can another preview please be given?

Anyone getting on Levellass' case about this is getting on my case. It was my decision to wait for her. She's put countless hours into this project, has created some great sounds so far, and despite my own frustration with the lack of communication for the past couple weeks, she is undeserving of public criticism; again, it has been my decision to wait. Enough said.

One of the goals of this project has been professionalism. We're going to release the most complete game we can. This means we're going to try to avoid releasing it with incomplete sounds (which means not only are some sounds missing/but in some cases sounds play in the wrong places).

Unless Levellass makes a triumphant return with the sound effects, Commander Spleen will be trying to finish the remainder of them. If anyone has information on composing adlib sound effects, this would be useful in speeding things along.
