Working on TUIT epic battle game
I'm making a little game in Game Maker 7.0 that should replicate the feel of the final Keen/Mort battle. It's two-player, currently. Read more here.

It's done!!
There are four versions to choose from (in seperate EXEs).
tuit.exe = Person (Mort) vs. Person (Keen)
tuit_k.exe = Computer (Mort) vs. Person (Keen)
tuit_m.exe = Person (Mort) vs. Computer (Keen)
tuit_w.exe = Computer (Mort) vs. Computer (Keen) <-- my favorite
The computer has a strange habit of walking backwards, don't know...

Very nice!
The firework effect for Mort's gun, though spectacular, could afford to be smaller.
Could you use the actual ducking sprite for Keen's ducking? Again with ducking, I ended up stuck partially inside a block after I ducked.
I like how the terrain fades with Mort's shots.
I know that Game Maker AI is a pain, but a) having Mort match my every move as we fall on top of each other is somewhat unnerving, and b) Mort often gets stuck in a jerky "trying to jump but hitting a block" sequence. Could those be fixed?

OK, becuase it could be hit once from right, then left, I didn't think it would look to good to have the crater transfer sides. But, now the block get a hole through it when shot. I tried to fix the physics, but I really don't know how. Same link as before.
Also, the physics are best in the main feature, Person vs. Person.
