Actually the trick is to align Keen perfectly with the horizontal row of tiles that has the opening. To explain what I mean:
Moving Keen up against the solid wall here horizontally aligns him perfectly with the opening on the right. All you have to do is move right without pressing any other directions and Keen will pass through the opening. As for getting to the other secret level past Santa's Cottage, I have no idea.
If I was you, I wouldn't forget about this trick. It may come in use later in a different mod.

didn't think i'd like this one but after playing for an hour i have decided to love it and kudos on it being the first good and proper KD mod too dude! tho i did find it hilariously disturbing that Santa's cottage was a den of murderous traps and monsters, and who was that one little girl in the pink dress in one level? i couldnt get to her and that also is disturbing how keen left a kid trapped there in a world of eternal winter...
