A colored-pencil on textured paper drawing I made at my grandparents' house (incidentally, while playing Keen on the hardware that introduced me to it)

EDIT: The picture was too big to courteously post on the forums, so I've just linked to it instead.

Yeah the blue interlace gives it a Windows 9x feel to it.
I was trying to line up my upscaled picture with the original background and found an error... I had it scaled at 283% instead of 300%. So I'm a bit disappointed.
So if I am going to try redrawing sprites it'll be at x3 scale to make it simpler, and I'd need to redraw the earlier image so it fits. Blah... I am disappoint.

I could make some changes to KEENGINE so that you could play it with HD graphics. Three times the resolution would result in 960x600, but I don't think you'd be able to run this in fullscreen mode. I'd rather go for 1280x800 (four times the resolution).guynietoren wrote:That'd be quite a project to give HD treatment to keen4-6. But I'm sure it'd be worth it, bringing in folks who hadn't played the original.
Hail to the K1n9, baby!
