Dude, nice work! I'm thinking his facial features are too low, but other than that - pretty awesome.

Yeah I didn't want to rotate the head any further with his back facing you.

I almost gave up on it after the first draft.

But using jagged and thick lines really helps to stylize imperfect proportions.

Oh that. Yeah I copied a picture of a helmet to trace out for it.

As far as the face. I think I can move it up higher. I guess I didn't notice that till now.

It's called Steam Punk Commander Keen. Wherever IT is The Commander Keen, I'm unsure. Well, the guy got a helmet, got a gun and there is some kind of flying machine that may be steam punked BWB megarocket. On the other hand, the guy is using backpack, got gloves and I cannot find any other obvious or not so obvious Keen references.

The patterns on the helmet is extremely similar to those on Keens helmet. I would be surprised if that steampunk kid is NOT Commander Keen.

@ZidaneA: That steampunk Keen was referenced here, where I posted some retro-futurism of my own. It was drawn for PCKF member Catwafer.

Just gave my opinion on why I knew it was Commander Keen even without the reference

@ZidaneA: Ah ok, cool! You have a better eye than me. I would have never thought of the Keen connection if I had just seen it outside of this forum (maybe because Keen is rarely referenced, beside Dopefish).

Yeah, the graphical style reminds me much of Worms (starting with Worm 2 and going on till World Party).
