This is a thread devoted solely to Keen fan-art, as the Music or Fanfiction threads are solely devoted to music and fanfic, respectively. If there already is a thread like this, let me know, don't lock/spam this one, okay?

I'll start off with a picture of possibly my favourite Keen characters:

I made a sprite sheet for Mort, and I made it before I played and of those "Mortimer Mcmire" skin mods. Here it is:

I also made a second one, in which he had a blue book.

Here's a re-imagining I did of Mort a while back. The inspiration came when I thought "what does a super-villain do while their minions are over-working the hero?". And technically, we've never seen Mortimer in person, so there's many different looks he could have. All we really have of the real Mort is his helmet (if I am wrong on this fact, please tell me). I also wanted to do something other than the typical rendition of Mortimer-- where he is more or less an "evil" version of Keen.

Now, while Mortimer is obese, it's not an insult towards the obese or to use the stereotypical "fat bad guy" image (i.e. Jabba the Hutt, Dr. Robotnik, etc). Instead it's more like a logical projection of a super-villain who sits around all day (kind of like the future humans in the movie Wall-E).

Haha, I'm not sure I follow what you mean (other than the fact that Pokey is an Earthbound character).

If you ever played Mother 3 you could easily make connections between them. Actually I already found them to be pretty similar villains even before I saw how much worse pokey got in the sequel. The main difference is that pokey is fat and extremely stupid.

But would he? He has no one to impress (especially if he's 9 or 10 years old) and he won't have any problems moving around if he has his minions and machinery doing everything.

Here's another one I did, but this is of a 2nd android that Mort would create as a diversion (making you think you were fighting the real Mort...again, haha)...before you'd have the showdown with the big Mort.

At the point he is I don't think it's a matter of presentation anymore so much as it is for preventing 8-year old heart failure.
