Believe me, if by some miracle I finish a Galaxy mod, there won't be a person on planet earth that won't know about it.

In other news today, I have some King Tuber-related news. I don't know where else to post this, but I want you guys to take a look at a new addition, the Tater Trooper:

...For some reason, whenever I post a video on breakdownhouse, I always think of "I hope Levellass will be able to view this" ever since the first time LL reported video-viewing bugs. It was just so memorable to me. Anyway. It's basically this:

Heh, that looks great.

If you complete the set, I can add them into Netkeen : Dreams.

Sweet. Just finished Climbing Up Pole frames. Just Ledge, Enter Door, Slide Down Pole, Shoot on Pole, and Shoot Up and Down to go.

As a totally unrelated side note, what abilities would it be cool for Keen to have? (Say an airboard like in Cosmo, or crawling like in Monster Bash.)

They're not really powers, but since Keen Dreams introduced those poles, I'd long been toying with the idea of implementing other playground structures such as jungle gyms and monkey bars. I guess that I was spot on with that line of thought since Worlds of Wander features them.

Crawling could be interesting for accessing certain passages and such, and someone here mentioned using the pogo stick as a melee weapon - that would be cool. Actually, I keep thinking that the bayonet that the King has in these sprites (which are quite nice, by the way) would double nicely as a melee weapon. But yeah, the pogo could perhaps knock enemies back (since it's a pogo) without perma-stunning them.

Perhaps the ability to shoot in diagonal directions? Likely with the addition of another button so as to not hamper the ability to shoot straight up while running (a la Metroid, I suppose).

Thanks! Many sprite sets to finish.

Hmm.... Time to do some brainstorming.
Temporary Invincibility (Like Mario's Tanooki Suit as seen in Super Mario Bros. 3)
Explosive mine: Set in the ground for enemies to run into.
Build Decoy Machine to pull agro on all enemies in sight.
Last Resort: Candy Toss. Subtracts points, throws candy at enemies.
Lindsey Call: Summon the Princess to help Keen find the exit!
Hand Vac: Propels enemies away from Keen.
Flower Shower: Summons a row of Flower Pots overhead that temporarily rains down Flower Power, stunning all enemies in range.
Vitalin Boost: Morph into the unstoppable Bane Keen
Worm Hole: Teleport 8 tiles in the direction Keen is facing!

Interesting stuff, I've certainly been able to code a limited mine capability. These will definitely merit attention.

mario shoes (stun enemies by stomping on them, can be swapped with pogo)
sanic speed
sonic ring shield (getting hit by an enemy causes you to spill all your ammo, but you survive
short range hadoken?
aggro-stealth (kind of like the decoy, but any enemy chasing you automatically reverts to passive state). you can still get harmed by enemies walking by you, and you can't move while stealth is active

probably difficult to do, but i can dream
