Can "Keen" be a real name?

Post by MortimerInBlack »

answer: yes

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Williams_Keen

his first name is even William! (aka Billy)

I found that while looking around at the history of surgery, and stumbled upon it. It is so cool to see an article refer to someone as "Keen."
The Viking II lander actually did land on a 'rock' on Mars.

The real question is: can "Commander" be a real name?
Keen also participated in a secret surgical operation to remove a cancerous jaw tumor on US President Grover Cleveland in 1893.

Keen died in Philadelphia.
Dammit!

That's so cool.

I already planned to name my first daughter Maya (Gyakuten Saiban reference), maybe I should name my first son Keen... :/

In my country, one is not allowed to name his/her child with a name which can't be found in calendars or doesn't have a saint patron. So I can't have a son named Keen :( maybe if one of his parents had foreign citizenship

keen isn't a name. it's a word, it means something like really eager or full of determination, and aware of practically everything. put commander in front and there u go!
