but since its an american company that made the games, and they never really specify where hes from, by default he's american. (besides, he seems american more than anything i think- a kid making a spaceship out of stuff thats lying around sounds like a metaphor for the founding of the US).
Well he is of Polish descent in the male line, via his grandfather's family... in fact his surname is the Anglicisation of Blazkowicz. But his own nationality is American.
I'd be interested in another place that has the Green Bay Packers helmets (In 1990, not today with all the culture sharing.) It also has a solid snowy winter which rules out a lot of SA, and English (writing and language displayed in casual conversation.) which rules out Russia.
