It's good that you've disabled the music, but why pc speaker sounds?

He heard we like retro, so he put retro in his retro so we can reminisce while we reminisce.

Nifty little video.

Is your commentary audio recorded separate of your DosBox footage? I'm not exactly sure what your set up is, but desynchronization is a royal pain. VideoPad has a nice feature that detaches the audio from the video clip so that the audio can be slid back or forward to adjust synchronization with the video. I dunno if that's helpful or not... Anyways, I look forward to the next upload!

"Hi I'm Fleeeeeeex, this is a maaaahhhhd". Interesting pronunciation. It has some of the usual early commenters issues like "I dunno what to say so just keep talking no matter what I say, so that's that" but apart from that it looks nice and the quality is good.

The second episode, "Distracted Spanish", is up! I'm glad to see people are liking this. The link has been added to the first post and can also be found here.

@wiivn: I muted the game sound when recording, so I didn't notice the settings. I'll switch to the SoundBlaster audio for the next recording session, which starts in about eight episodes. :|

@troublesomekeen: Yes, I recorded the audio and video on different computers, so the audio and video are already on separate tracks. Thanks for the tip and thanks for subscribing!

@tulip: Thanks for your input. I'll try to ramble less in the next recording session. I did get more comfortable talking in later episodes, so it should get better.

@Cobalt: TKOK is the acronym for The Keys of Krodacia, one of Ceilick's mods. You can find a link in the video description.

As a matter of fact, that worked for me! I remember that the first times I've played keen, I played it with pc speaker. After I got Adlib or Sound Blaster, I was so amazed of the sound effects and music back then...

Even more, now I tried the pc speaker option in Atroxian Realm and Keen 57, but unfortunately, the pc speaker effects remain unchanged.

Episode 3 is up. A/V desynchronization is starting to happen, but it's not bad enough here that I tried to correct it.

As of this writing, Episode 4 is being processed by YouTube's servers. Edit: done. This episode is slightly longer than the others and future episodes will also be longer because the levels are getting more complicated (fun). I fixed the A/V desync for this, so everything should make sense.

@troublesomekeen, Levellass: Wow! Thanks for your encouragement!

I did another recording session, so I implemented your suggestions. The latest episode, Not Very Fun House, and future episodes have SoundBlaster audio. Thanks for watching everyone!
