Call me crazy, but are his musics free to use in any Keen mods?
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT or something, just asking.
(I refer to "Jazz Me" mainly)

Bobby Prince created a MIDI version of "Jazz Me" many years ago. The MIDI file contains some text events which say:
- (C) 1992, Robert C. Prince - bobby prince Music, BMI
- NOT FOR PUBLIC PERFORMANCE WITHOUT A LICENSE FROM BMI - license@bpmusic.com for info

The conclusion was that you'd be fine using his tracks in your mod.Malvineous wrote:But then I would think this is more to prevent commercial use, given that Bobby is selling modern remakes of his tracks. He seems pretty enthusiastic about community projects using his work, so as long as you're not trying to make money out of it and you give him credit, I don't think anyone is going to complain.

I remember when I was eleven years old (in 2001), I would write fan letters to Mr. Prince.
He was always super nice. In one of them, I asked him if I could use his music in my Wolf3D mods. He basically said yes, and implied the same thing Malvineous wrote.
So yeah, I don't think he minds so long as no one is profiting from his work.
