When you log onto your account, it doesn't send you straight to the project: you're instead placed in your own personal project hub. To access our project specifically you gotta select the "Project" tab on top and then select "Operation Stardust". At this point you should see Documents (and everything else related to the project) on the left.

Woah, it's possible to have moving, grabbable items? :eek

Ok, I opt out. I have received no files and this seems waaay to complex for me to bother with. The last time I was involved with anything like this it did not end well at all.

Are you kidding, too complex for you? To build a level and make a few tiles (as few as you like, in fact, you don't need to use all 26)... :disguised

As for files, I've tried now two times and gotten delivery failure message both times. Is your e-mail address functional? I sent them for the third time, now.

I won't accept your resigning just yet, at least not before you've seen the enemies as that might inspire you. :mort

The readme file says we can add yorp message tiles, so can we add startext text patches? Does the yorp tile change into the gray background tile or what? I think I figured out what kind of area I want to make.

It says do NOT make your own tiles yorp messages. So don't do that. Use only normal solid or or non-solid tiles (which may be frozen or slippery). No special properties -- other than foreground or masked if you like.

Uhh... KeenRush? Have you ever used a program called Tilesettool? I'm going to be forced to rearrange my animated tiles because it seems you're only aware of the existence of the .tli format.

If you're trying to create aribitrary animations, you'd need the whole V2 patch in addition to Tilesettool. I'd say this has probably been considered and decided against in the name of minimalism, even if it might save a tile or two.

k then.

A helpful tip–in the epis1dat.txt in mindbelt, modify the following lines:

Code: Select all

Yorp 52 ;48 was original yorp sprite
...
Vorticon 76 ;70 was the original sprite
That will show the proper enemy sprites in mindbelt for this mod.

This is not using the slopes patch etc. This is pure old-fashioned Keen 1. I thought that was obvious. I didn't include tileinfo.exe in the zip for nothing. ;) Yes, maybe I should have stated these, but I didn't understand to.
