An Infamous Tune, in a Nostalgic Way...

Post by T-Squared » Sat Oct 20, 2018 15:06

Yeah, it's been a while, what with the previous forum going down the tubes.

Yes, I have been working on Cosmo II, but it's been slow. I lost my previous subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, as I use Adobe Fireworks CS6 to make the graphics. But I have been able to roll back to Adobe CS4, which works just as well.

Anyways, I remember someone here making a rendition of the Main Theme of the Game Boy Color version of Commander Keen, but I didn't quite like it, so I decided to make my own!
Cosmo II: HUMANIZED!!! Progress:
Graphics: 15% Complete
Story: 100% Complete
Music: 5% Complete
Programming Modifications: ??% Complete

Cool! Sounds like a song from Lemmings/Lemmings 2 to me. One thing is for sure: sounds much better than the gbc. The only thing that bothers me is the drums intro which imko is not really necessary or too long.

This is awesome. I do enjoy the chiptunes from Keen GBC, even if the game itself leaves something to be desired. And I always love a good remix! :D
