I've seen and tried out Dr. Colussus' great remakes of "Marooned on Mars" and "Earth Explodes". However a remake of the third game is not going to be created. I'm not skilled at modding and I'm no way a skilled artist, but I was able to put together a map that puts quite a fews things in 3D perspective. Can you spot the Easter Egg in the level?

Sorry that there aren't any enemies in the picture, but I don't have the skills to draw them Galaxy style. The Stranded Fish was based on a killer fish from Monster Bash.

Great job, this looks really cool and succeeds at what it tries to do. I especially like the stairways.

When I did the stairs, I lined each step three pixels apart. Took several minutes to calculate the bottom step from the top one. If the stairs were connected on-screen, the pattern would be perfect. It truly gives the perfect angle.

I'm not entirely sure, but he said he's not skilled at modding, so what we're seeing here is photoshop or something, illustrating what Keen 3 would look like and not an upcoming mod.

But if this is a mod, then it already looks really advanced.

With the Easter holidays here, I've had time to come up with a couple of more exciting screenshots:

Level 8 - Hal's Kitchen

Level 14 - Cape Canavorta

The first screenshot is supposed to be Hal's Kitchen, but I couldn't exactly replicate the complicated kitchen maze into an isometric platform layout, so I tried something different. There's also an obvious Easter Egg in it.

The floating messenger indeed is a reference to Duke Nukem II.

The city backdrop is a recolored version of the one in the third episode of "Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure".
