This is where you can post your Commander Keen related stories, artwork, or other stuff that is related to Commander Keen but otherwise doesn't belong in another forum.
I guess this is where our misunderstanding arises. The topic header says, "Which mods do you feel should be added to the canon?" I understood this as meaning adding mods' stories to the official canon. It never occured to me about having a fan timeline until you mentioned it.
Yeah, I just realized that your reponse was more directed at KeenEmpire's original post/topic Guess I saw the topic evolving in a way it wasn't.
And I agree with CK Guy, there isn't a need for this kind of thing. Just seems like it might be neat to do, a "what if it all happened in the same Universe" compared to what already is the Keen-Multiverse.

I still like the idea of expanding the existing canon by adding the mods. Obviously, I was wrong about many of the stories repeating themselves and you set me straight on that. But even with all the different ideas, I still believe it is more problematic than realistic to try and add ALL the mods. But the one thing you and I did agree on is that it just did not seem fair to exclude certain mods and alienate their makers. For all the effort and time many of you put into creating these mods, all your hard work should count for something.
Maybe there is a way to make it work and keep everyone happy with the results.

yeah i like that idea, maybe we should actually have a poll as to which mods could be considered canon, y'kno until TUIT is made (which it will darnnitt!!)
I too agree that the fangames should not be added to official canon, even Star Trek and Star Wars have varying levels of canon, why can't Commander Keen?
They call the official games canon for a reason. What if newcomers get confused over what was officially made and what was a fan production? And if we explained to them which was which, wouldn't that automatically separate it all over again?
thats tru, it would be very confusing as there are so many mods out there of varying quality, altho i still think it'd be kewl to give a select few 'unofficial canon' status, just for fun
Very nice! This is a Keen idea, well done. A 'Fan Enemies' section seems like a good idea, but depending on the number of fangames (rather than mods) to be included, it might be appropriate to make it mod specific, ie like you said "Mod Monsters".
I added some more monsters of Keen X. I didn't add the green slimy thing because I don't know how to name it. Also I just named the Android Dummy - Xky Android Dummy and the Tank Bot - Xky Tank Bot. Not very creative, but I just want it to be clear what is meant.
