Cyan is an okay color, I think. I would sure never decorate my house with it, but still...

The interesting thing that I've heard is that cyan really didn't exist until computers did. It's a combination of 255 bits of blue and green color, and as allstories pointed out, it's never really seen in nature.

The pixel art on top of hand drawn art looks a bit off.
I'd smooth out the gradients/dithering and lines a bit in the official stuff to make the image more coherent overall.

Yeah, I never liked cyan either.

I think I'd also prefer something simpler and sleek looking.

Yeah it looks good but what's with those enemies chasing him? I mean they're not even accurate or anything - is that supposed to be a fleex or what? Jeez, whoever drew them must not be much of a Keen fan.
