Maybe if your computer is still DOS-era. Anyway, from that error log it looks like something's blocking Xchat from the required port, so Mibbit it is!

Oi, IRC arguments stay on IRC - don't bring them in here.

DHeadshot: That's called Firefox ;)
Seriously though, Opera has a really tiny memory footprint when compared to other browsers and my CPU is 5 years old and is coping with it and 40+ tabs just fine. :)

5 years old is still only 2006/7. How does it cope on a Pentium III?

Dheadshot - you are a true keener if the computer you use daily is as old as you're suggesting.

That's liek 10 years. 5 years is the end of the P4 era. My main desktop is from the start of 2005. It's an Athlon64 3600 and usually keeps up with my heavy omni-tasking pretty well.

Actiually, you know what's a pretty awesome lightweight browser? Midori.

(Also we accidentally off-topic)

I hope to get that one mounted on this forum sometime soon, as well as on the Keen: Modding forum, making it so that everyone can quickly chat at the bottom of the forum without having to log in or worry about other such things.
Hmm... This didn't really take off. Presenting PCKF BetaMax! (Or PCKF LaserDisc, or PCKF HD DVD, or PCKF 8-track, or PCKF Floptical, or PCKF Minidisc, or PCKF Zepplin, or PCKF <insert your own fail here>... Hmm, as a species, we don't seem to be very good at inventing stuff...)

It's still there! All the same settings as before! Still on irc.foonetic.net and still #PCKF.

I'd just like to remind you that those of us in the IRC channel are celebrating the three-year anniversary of Jroc's defeat during the game. Come join us to mark this momentous occasion. :birthday

(p.s. you have also lost the game)
