hey everyone.

just wondering if anyone has their own ideas of Mortimer McMire?

My one:

Pretty simple, but my concept on what he should look like.

Yeah, the ideas are varying, there being nothing else official than those animated tiles from Keen 3, and even those were of his android dummy. (Or well, there's more in Keen GBC, but nobody cares about that crap.) That's a good representation! Are you working on a mod or something where he's starring?

I didn't get Keen 3 until after I had come up with my ideas for Mort, so I've always seen him differently. Either a plain t-shirt and jeans, or a Japanese-school-type outfit.

I think Mortimer is actually a yorp in disguise, and the android dummies were based off the disguise. He's trying to fool Keen into thinking he's not a yorp because if he knew, Keen would realise that yorps are not always harmless which would lead to... something.

Okay, I admit, I didn't really think this through.

To be honest, I didn't even know who Mortimer McMire was before I joined the PCKF. The black MM helmet in Keen 5 meant nothing to me, and I didn't have Keen 3 at the time.

Sorry, I haven't done Keen modding before but yes, I'm making sprites from the original ck4 keens. no idea for the diver though, i'm sure i'll come up with something later.

If anyone is interested in using him in a mod, i'll update this.

Okay, here's mort plummeting to his (own) inevitable doom of falling into a wormhole that goes two ways:

One way that takes him to the town he came from but reduces his IQ by three quarters, OR...

One way that takes him to the town he came from while recieving a free IQ test.

Guess where mort goes...

Keen then jumps in -- recieving the free IQ test which turns out to be...

Lmao, I never really thought about how ambiguous Mort was. I had always assumed he wore a black shirt and jeans, but come to think of it the only thing that's ever shown in the games is his face and helmet.

Acient thread, yes, but hey, there aren't a lot of post topics about the GI.

I kinda go with the red shirt dark jeans thing. I suppose he was modeled as a sort of dark anti-Keen, so he'd be all the dark versions of Keen's coloring.
Pink becomes a deep red, the jeans are toned darker, trow a bit of blue into the sneakers then tone that down as well. The hair's probably black, since Fou- *No. Not going to let myself pick that up.* Billy's a light brunette.

I do imagine a few extra diffrences. A hole in the knee of his jeans maybe, throw his hair in his eyes, grow it half a centimeter longer than fours- Billy's. That sort of thing.

...Also, gave him a grey, black, and red raincoat in CIITBOTE. Which I've drawn. He's also hidden partly by clouds of fog in the picture because I suck at drawing.
