This sux. Well, on the other hand, I can understand it -- since xtra's not around and maybe not so interested in Keen anymore it's reasonable he stops keeping the site online and paying for its hosting.

I agree with you. That is probably what happened. I have been unsuccessful at accessing the site myself. I am guessing it will be permanently gone. CK Guy seems to be MIA as well, because The Bipship seems to be devoid of updates.

You know, I've been wondering the same thing. I noticed it a while back that he left.

I also noticed a while back that the web page was gone. No idea what happened to it but as KeenRush said, he probably left the community.

For most things like levelpacks, fangames and mods, the KeenWiki is more than enough, and I will have it all up there, it only takes time...

For some other things like archived fun webpages I think Planet Keen would be great. I saved some of the stuff on Beyond the Pogo, "Yorpology" for example... I could send it over if you want to set that stuff up at your site Spleen.

I didn't know about this until now. That's really sad.

But xtraverse will have his reasons, it's only bad that the site (and xtra) has just disappeared without any announcement. Beyond the Pogo was one the first English-language Keen fansites I visited often, and it got me into modding (I've STILL not finished the mod I started in 2004, though

). At least CC314 has been saved... Gladly, quite a lot content of spatang.com and dosclassics.com seems to have been saved in the Internet Archive.

Sure, I could setup some sub-sites on there.

I think a new central location for mods, fan games, fan art and news would be great to have, and would complement the Keen Wiki rather than be made redundant by it, but it's not something I can really do all on my own at the moment.
