A trilogy in 3D

Post by thehackercat »

If a major gaming company was going to make one of the Keen trilogies in 3D for a major console, which one would you want them to do?

I would have to say TUIT, but only if they brought Tom Hall on board. Otherwise, I would really not care.

Probably Toast, with the Tom condition.

Universe is Toast? This is news to me, I was always convinced that they would make a 3D sequel to Keen Dreams....

They didn't really want to make Dreams since it was on contract, and the last Keen boasts about how something big is coming (which would be TUIT)... What do you think?

TUIT, naturally. I'd love to see how it would turn out, though it probably wouldn't live up to soaring fan expectations.

I don't believe that, Keen Dreams was their pride and joy!

Lava is already working on Vorticons in CK 64, and Ceilick's TUIT is satisfying enough for me. Goodbye Galaxy is the least obvious answer, I picked it cuz I'm curious what it would look like. Project Shadowlands maybe, but I think that's a different story that happens to take place on gnosticus IV. What is this "hanging chad?" I feel like I'm out of the loop here! :dopekeen :dead2

We all know we want to see TUIT, I mean, the sheer potential is mind-numbing.

Except that if it was a "major gaming company", then there's a good chance that it would be lacking one vital person in the Tom Hall Department, which would lead to the game lacking one vital feature in the "doesn't suck" department.

Plus, even if some major company made the games, and the gameplay itself didn't suck, would the game have the character, style and light-hearted-ness of the originals? Even if a company gave the game perfect gameplay and slapped in some cartoonish graphics, I think Tom Hall is really the one who knows the game's style best and could bring in the humor of the series.

Hear, hear, Lava! I kinda figured the same, I just wanted to see y'all's opinions.

@Vikingboybilly: The "hanging chad" is a reference to the 2000 US presidential election.
