Fribbulus Xax Falls
I think the Falls-level is a bit smaller than the level from AAMLS, but there's a lot more to explore:

If you get a captcha, just enter the text and press ENTER. Then just klick on the filename to start downloading. That works for me.Levellass wrote:The page is not in english for me, I do not know how to download.

A new version is out!
Fribbulus Xax Falls 1.3
Fribbulus Xax Falls 1.3 Mirror
If you've already played this map, you may try the NOIR edition:
Fribbulus Xax Falls 1.3 Noir Edition
Fribbulus Xax Falls 1.3 Noir Edition Mirror
It's not entirely black & white, but I like how some things do have colors in contrast of the b&w game .
What's new:
As for the maps themselves, minor tweaks mostly. Basically, they are the same levels as before, but I believe I've fixed many graphical glitches and made a few tweaks in the level. There are still remaining a few tile bugs, but whatever. Don't get too much into it . Oh, and I've added some new decorations.
As for the game engine itself, there are some major bug fixes by K1n9_Duk3 such as: better world map moving routine, better up/down scrolling, better scrolling while moving on pole and some other fixes which will come later with the next version of Keengine.
As for the levellass complaining about hosting: I've got and id and the first link is a direct download...

I'm back... kind of? Not really.
You can also find me here.

Does it say that when you're downloading the file or when you're trying do start the game? Anyway, the complete error message would be useful.

The oldest machine I got to test the recent build on was an Athlon 1.3 GHz, 512 MB RAM with a GeForce 2 MX (32 MB video RAM) running Windows XP SP3. It ran a little slow in windowed mode (about 45 fps) but smooth in fullscreen (60 fps).
To get it to run faster, you should switch to fullscreen mode and set the color depth to 16 bits. Use the options menu to do that. Changing the resolution down to 320x240 could help, too, but that resolution is not supported by many graphics drivers nowadays.
Also, make sure you've got OpenGL drivers installed.
As for the controls, you can re-assign the keys in the options menu. The default keys are the left Ctrl and Alt keys.

No idea, in my PC it's smooth and Ctrl&Alt work...Levellass wrote:Works fine for me. Goes as slow as a wet week in-level though, and I can't get ctrl or alt to work. Any ideas?

As I've said before, it runs fine under Windows XP (with service pack 3 installed). Vista and Win7 should work, too. At least I didn't get any complaints about these.Levellass wrote:Does it work on windows XP?
Older versions of the engine even ran under Windows 98, but I can't test that right now as I don't have a working PC with Win98 installed.
