Super Armageddon 2 Turbo - Keenday Release
Still trying to make time to complete this: I don't think i'm quite half way yet.
The world map is awesome. I love the music, love the graphics. Has a definite Keen 1 feel without feeling like a graphical swap of Keen 1, even though some of the graphics are just recolored keen 1 graphics. This is already one of my favorite Keen mod world maps.
The same goes for in-level graphics: the majority of them are really nice and work as a great compliment to the original keen 1 graphics. The effect gives it a 'lost episode' feel.
So far I don't care much for the level design, mostly because there are too many of the keen 5 style fire helix thingies, sometimes just long strips of them dividing sections of the level. I think several of the levels i've played so far could benefit from just removing these and making the level less restrictive and more open/explorable--comparable to the original keen 1 levels.
That's just so far though, might think differently as I continue playing.

Disappointing. The text was broken
And twisted to fit the limjited window space.
AND ALSO THE SUDDENLY APPEARING TEXT BIT.
We can patch the ending sequence however we want now, it should have been trivial to alter the ending to be far more smooth.

I dunno, but it's not broken for me, I tested it quite a few times on my machine.
This really bugs me: why the hell would anything be broken on one machine and not on the other while we're all using dosbox? This bugged me since Keen X where apparently level28 could be accessed only "on some machines", and ever since I can find those local errors (Aliens vs. Keen, Silcar 4).
Btw, if you want to improve on the ending, go ahead Llass, I won't believe you can until you do.

It would have been much better if it was something like the first window being biger and reading 'Keen makes it home to his clubhouse to analyze the memory chip.' We could fit that all in, and have the lines as long as you want. We wouldn't have to have two windows of 1 line that goes "That means... " and "Armageddon II..."
It all seems a little... forced to me and a few simple patches would have made the ending a lot smoother and more explanatory.
