i'm just saddened that the ditd one diesn't include carchase, which is arguably one of the best tracks ever.

also, awesome work as usual, mr. m!

I'm eager to upload the MP3s to YouTube, once they are all converted to that format, that is (and assuming the composers have nothing against this?).

EDIT: How come some of the Midi/MP3 versions have a faster tempo than their IMF counterparts (see "Reflections" for example)? Makes them sound a bit awkward.

EDIT2: Btw, the TUIT song (both MIDI and MP3) has a part of the end cut out.

EDIT3: Seems like the Into the Reactor MIDI and MP3 are missing.

Some of the songs have speed differences due to the way they were converted with IMF Creator and, in the case of Reflections, I felt the slower tempo better reflected (:dead) the look and pace of the level compared to the original speed it was composed at.

These are all the midi and mp3 versions of songs that I have; missing or incomplete songs would need to be provided by their composers.

I'd have to agree on part of every song that was 'slown-down'.

unfortunately, SR2 sounds like it was cut short as compared to spaced out.

can creator give a word on this?

I'd rather they not be on YouTube. That's just my two cents

I uploaded the Keen 8 mp3s to YouTube. Do you want me to take them off?

Edit: I took them off. I apologize for not asking permission before uploading.

Second Edit: Wow! Even a lot of the outtakes are splendid! I copied the midis to a floppy and played them on my family's Clavinova (Yamaha digital piano); it's great. I'm even warming up to "Void." Thanks to all the composers for working on something for which you won't get paid.
I downloaded an IMF player, but I don't know how to set it up. Could someone please help me with that?

Guys! Is this Battle of the Brains midi-pack still available for download somewhere? :) I'd love to remix some of them songs, but I'd need the MIDIs. The Dropbox link is not working anymore :(
(and no, I didn't plan to upload any of them anywhere, just for personal use)

I'm so disorganized by now that I can't find anything. And I haven't even upgraded to Windows 10 yet. Are you sure you're not going to upload them? Hmmm... I have these, but I dunno if they work. Or if they're the right ones.

Thank you very much! Yes, I'm positive I will not. Mr. M said he would not appreciate that, and that's fine, especially because I still need a new machine for Reason to run, and until then, the MIDIs will be perfect for muh cellphone :D

Once I've remastered them tho, I shall rename them to a more...um...appropiate title. I mean, well, people tend to look at someone with a "WTF" expression, when he blurts out "shikadi". It is too bad playing Commander Keen is not an elementary school duty, I'd make it complusory for everyone :)

P.S. I just got to the awesome drum riffs in "Shikadi Rock"...I think I shat meself... :o

Can someone reupload that package? I didn't get a chance to check it out...

Links are broken...

Thanks to the Wayback Machine, I can listen to these fantastic MP3s! Wow, they're so cool! I encourage everybody to listen to them, especially if you love the BotB soundtrack in IMF form! Here, I thought Atroxian Realm would be the only Keen mod that has MP3s, then recently I discovered these and the DitD MP3s! Are there any more Keen mods with MP3 covers? They are really awesome to listen to!

Is there a way to download the two songs? I haven't found a way to do so yet.

I did that and it worked! It looks like I can only download the song while it's loading and not after it has loaded. Thanks, proYorp! Now I can listen to these awesome, keen songs whenever I want to, even if Mortimer blows up the Internet! :D :goth
