After playing a bit (just the "first" two levels for now), here is another minor glitch: While on the world map, try walking to the right of the house on the Penny Lane. Some kind of a glitchy movement can be observed.

EDIT: Also, while in the Penny Lane level itself, after getting to the second outside area try looking down. See the sky on the bottom?

Oh yeah, and another typo, this time of mine:

Who's said "tilting"?!

Yep, it's a one way trip. Pass the back door and you can't go back.
Getting into this a bit more now, I *think* that I can see how does it make sense. So that is one "evil" feature, although it's just a maybe now.

Oh yeah, if not yet done by you then I suggest to NOT apply a truly evil idea of my own (unless you can do it better): Difficulty-specific areas/levels. You know it's evil once you're looking for secrets everywhere...
Say now, how are you at beta testing? I need someone that nitpicky.
Past experience shows it depends on available time and motivation altogether. In other words, one can try and I'd better say no if I'm not sure.

Good for you, but is it really worth a new post to just notify us of your progress with every mod? Let me put it bluntly: Who cares? :confused

Quite honestly, I almost got down on my knees and thanked God for his post. Oy! And besides! It's good to know the mod is being played!

Good for you that you do not care, but is it really worth new posts to justify to us your constant off-topic posts with every thread is actually constructive somehow? Let me put it bluntly: I do not cut your throat, or anyone else's for that matter, every time a post is made I do not care about. Is it too much to ask you extend me the same courtesy? Besides, if truly did not care, you would have never responded to me in the first place.

I do not post my progress in a mod because I feel like I am some kind of bad-ass, or I am trying to brag. I do it in order to open discussion with others who are also playing the mod. We can discuss what we like about the game, what we disliked, what levels were easy, what levels were hard, if there were certain areas in a level you got stuck, so we can help each other out, etc.

Excuse the fycl out of me because I DARE to participate in a discussion. It amazes me that the same people who constantly criticize others for what they post are the same ones who have the mitigated stupidity to wine, piss and moan like crybaby bitches that the forum is dying and no one participates. Why should anyone post on this board if people like you will not allow them to participate in a civilized discussion?

Did I miss a meeting where you were elected moderator?

Did I hit a soft spot? Either you take playing mods too seriously or you are very poor at handling criticism. And how was my post off-the-topic?

Disliking something, in my definition, is not caring. Therefore, I never cared when you posted your progress on some mod (and I've watched you do it in almost every mod release topic). I never accused you of bragging or anything like that. I was merely annoyed because posting this gives no content to the topic:

"I finished playing this mod."

Well, jeez, what can I say? If you would bother actually commenting on the mod's content, maybe I could let you go. I finished the mod twice on hard, but you don't see me posting about it (now I did, oh the irony).

Posting about how others post is off topic. You're not a moderator, this isn't your mod or your topic, don't try to police it. This is a warning.

Ceilick just said so himself. Posting about how others post is off-topic. It is interesting though that he gave you a free pass for criticizing me for how I post, yet jumped on my ass for criticizing you! Criticism is fine, But I am an adult and I do not appreciate being told what I can and cannot do by someone who does not have the authority to do so.

Other then the full thread I started concerning the mods I have played and completed, the only individual mod specific threads I posted 'progress reports' on were mods I really enjoyed.

No content? Ceilick was right when he said I am not moderator, but neither are you. What makes you so special that you can decide for the rest of us what has content and what does not? Just because you do not care does not mean others do not, or do you think your opinion is the only one that matters?
Well, jeez, what can I say? If you would bother actually commenting on the mod's content, maybe I could let you go. I finished the mod twice on hard, but you don't see me posting about it (now I did, oh the irony).
The mod's content? Maybe you should read back in the thread. Levellass asked for help in identifying any bugs and I did that. I asked her questions about certain aspects of the game. Do you not consider any of this commenting on the mod's content? Yes, I did do a lot of posts on my progress in mods and I could understand your criticisms if that is all I did. But in most of those mods I posted in detail about those mods' contents. In fact, in a handful of mods (un-TUit is a textbook example here), I gave page long reviews of the mods.

Even if all I ever did was make 'progress reports' so what? As long as I am not violating any forum regulations or being grossly disrespectful to other forum members, I should be able to post whatever I please and so should everyone else. If you feel my posts are meaningless, then scroll past them. No one is forcing you to read them.

The main reason why I post my progress because I am interested in knowing how others are progressing through the game. So you beat this twice on hard? Cool! Let's discuss it. How hard was it and what things should I look for when I begin my hard run?

My post was directed as Grimson.

All I have to say to you, Syllypryde, is don't let yourself get dragged into responding to this kind of aggressive bullying. It's not worth it.

What was this about a second zip? (non Para-approved version) I haven't seen it, just the main one...

Speaking of which, just downloaded the mod again (after you said it was updates) gonna try it and see what's up (hopefully no more premature exiting the Witch's cottage and then flying off the world map.)

Also, about having the broomstick on the world map... this is supposed to lead to a secret level, isn't it?

Good... good... already it begins, first the Messie porn, now this. Slowly I am corrupting the keen community from the inside out...

By the way, 8 year olds sleeping during sex ed classes isn't really realistic, mainly because they don't actually have sex ed classes at that age if at all
'bama wants to teach kindergarteners about oral sex I tell you!

Not sure about that map glitch, but tweaked something anyway. Fixed the Penny Lane bug. (It was caused by fixing another bug, long ago.)

In WIE on hard difficulty there is access to extra levels not available on medium or easy.

Past experience shows it depends on available time and motivation altogether. In other words, one can try and I'd better say no if I'm not sure.
Well I shall have to keep you in mind, at least for WIE which will likely need much testing.
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.

Tried to play this

Great art, really nice! Fun to wonder around.

I just don't get this mod - started it on easy skill - and it just lacks enemies....it's like 1-2 enemies per level.... is something wrong? Or is it justa beta?

Also I got stuck outside in one place (the house on the right, near the fence) where it was keeping popping me the "border" message and I couldn't exit it.
So I had to shut the game down.

This has alot of potential, love it graphically.

A porn mod is basically already finished, but there's nowhere to release it.
I wish everyone would quit being so perverted and dramatic on PCKF; that's kind of my schtick.

To be on topic: This mod is the best mod.

PS. Testicles, and also I'm quitting the forums again (for 5 minutes).

*POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING?* Liked how are the directions applied correctly on "The Blaze Housebold"! "Right" on one side of the house is "Left" on the other!

Apart from that... that's right, think there are some more bugs/suggestions to mention:

- Near the entrance to "The Blaze Housebold" (message: "Keen goes home"...), on the bottom-right corner of the house, there's a little glitch.
- In general, when it comes to moving on the worldmap near the various homes there is some level of inconsistency: Sometimes you may wander on free space near a house (say to the right), and otherwise invisible blocking tiles don't let you do so (to the left). There is also one place where Keen says it is not the time to wander around.
- Is it done on purpose that it's so easy to leave a few of the very first levels (like that house) right after entering - and not re-enter? I can see such an ability could give an unfair advantage in terms of scoring and the like.
- On an ordinary level, while keen is moving left/right *and* jumping (but not with the pogo), he is shaking. Same problem as the similar worldmap bug?
- In fact, I think the walking is less fluid as well. Guess a few "sprite shifts" have been missed here and there?
- In "The Blaze Housebold" itself, after entering the rooftop: Why is there a need to activate the Jump+Down combo in order to get down - twice?
- On a possibly related note, try pressing the "up" key for a bit while Keen is standing on the floor. There are chances you're going to observe sprite shift issues now. Looking down is not effected (i.e. the shift problem applies to it as well), though.
- Also, about looking up: Any reason doing so gets halted by, I suppose, some animation?
- *SPOILER WARNING SPOILER WARNING SPOILER WARNING* Right after entering "The Blaze Housebold", go to the right as much as possible, then down on the stairs. Now try going right into a hidden place with a few items. Any reason Keen may fall down right upon entering it, although the actual floor's level within the hidden area is the same as outside that area?
- A similar glitch is also observed while on the second ("back") side of the house and visiting below it. It is where there is a hidden sloped floor. There is also a minor glitch on the left and right sides of the opening to that floor; You may stand "on" the opening (but only on the very edges) and press Jump+Down to get down.

UPDATE: Well, a few more things to add. Visiting the Meadow Trail:
- Jump over the hexagram. See what happens when you try to climb up on the pole as much as you can? I suppose that's done on purpose; If yes then that's a neat patch!
- (LATE ADDITION) You may move backwards while riding on the broomstick. Tried tapping the "jump" key?
- After the hexagram again, go down on the pole, then through the opening to the right. Now go right until you reach that other pole. By jumping to the wall on the right from the very top of the pole, it is possible to "climb" into the wall itself.
- (AN EVEN LATER ADDITION) Towards the second end of the same level, there is a minor dithering glitch seen in the background. See this for details (***SPOILER WARNING FOR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL***): http://www.picamatic.com/show/2013/01/1 ... 20x200.png
- In the Status Windows, should "DROPS" be replaced with "HEARTS"?
- Is it just me, or pole climbing stutters a bit, in comparison to vanilla Keen 4 (the motion I mean)? Note that it *might* be more noticeable with Vertical Sync in effect... in some way.
