Martinez McMeyer 4: Intelligent Intellect
Okay, here's version 1.1: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/497 ... 1.1%29.zip
- (v1.1) has been added to the loading screen
- the game will no longer crash in Space Maze as many toy rockets have been removed
- Rocket E is the only secret level
- Level 14 & 15 are no longer secret levels
- the hidden path is now behind Rocket B, which leads you to Level 14 & 15 (kinda like the Three-Tooth Lake in Keen 4)
- the tile error in Red Pit has been fixed
- in the help the HELP sign is now yellow
- you can no longer walk into the space
- the worldmap has been edited as well as the star wars screen picture
- one ***NOTE*** text has been edited in favour of the worldmap changes
- the secret level teleport issue has been resolved(you can teleport to the secret level from Level 11, when you are done in the secret level, it takes you to the game's starting point)

Yeah, piece of cake!
The great thing about changing a wiki is that you can do it yourself.
I have been playing this in recent days, still alot to go - but I thought I'd stop to give feedback.
This is a nice mod, and quite fun and challenging at times, but suffers from alot of weaknesses.
Some backgrounds are too dull (anyone said solid red background?), enemy patches are uninspiring and too close to the originals, too many drones and too little creatures, Bloog walking animation lacks frames...
Also some long walking corridors where nothing happens, you just walk and walk - those are level design flaws IMHO.
Things are under-decorated overall, undetailed, a bit too simmetrical and repeatable.
Platforms seem to look a bit too simplistic, and the art overall.
Liked the drones idea.
Overall - very nice effort, but art skills are lacking....level have some very nice ideas of challenge, but are a bit not overly designed with areas of too much action vs long areas of almost no action.

No worries, I'll improve.DoomJedi wrote:I have been playing this in recent days, still alot to go - but I thought I'd stop to give feedback.

Here's v1.2: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/497 ... 1.2%29.zip
- v1.2 has been added to the loading screen
- new high score names
- on the Star wars Oppressor Keen's has been changed to Collapser Keen(warning: the Collapser Janitor and Collapser Keen are in alliance, that's why both are Collapser! it's like "the Collapser Team A.K.A the Collapser Janitor and Collapser Keen", hope you get what I mean)

The only problem I have with this mod is most levels are not very interesting. They should have a little bit of maze like structure. Long straight platforms are boring. What art you did is good. Mart and mort should have a dark gray line around their helments. The mini mangling machine should be in places were you can see it before it shoots, or a patch needs to be made so that the sprite only shoots when Mart is a certain number of tiles away from it. There is somthing wrong with the berkaloid replacement, the game keeps crashing.
