Keen Meets the Meats (really!)

Here is where to post about the latest Commander Keen fangame or modification you've finished, a new website you've made, or another Keen-related creation.

I am usually not overly critical of mods since I know I could never do any better, but I have to agree that this mod is practically unplayable. It is a shame too because it has so much potential and the graphics are awesome.

Just reload it when it crashes!

hey wiivn/Syllypryde, have you tried playing MTM2.bat from VBB's link? That one works perfectly for me (so far), I experienced your same bugs with the original one in the first post, but that version (which appears to be older) seems to work perfectly

So yeah so far that version is very playable, big kudos to Lass and everyone else involved for making this a reality.

So? Did it work for you guys? Are troublesomekeen and myself really the only ones who bothered playing the functional version? :/

It's a cool mod and well worth trying out, so get on with it 8)

I'm afraid wiivn stated that even the VBB MTM2.bat didn't work.

I don't have trouble running it... :confused
Edit: nevermind, just crashed at the blue building.

Also just a heads up, I think one of the signs is off,( I think part of it was supposed to say taste but says tasae) and the top is clipped on the worldmap one, making it hard to read.[/nitpicking]

Even with all the blood splashes everywhere, I still wanna cook the goodies.

What are the functioning levels? I end up being stuck in the loading screen a lot, even after choosing other levels.
Me and omer made a rainbow dash HUD for doom, for our mistake most of the doomers are anti-bronies. Image

You're clearly using linux. Maybe you should try using a different OS to play it. That might sound nonsensical, but Ruin of Roib was unplayable when I was using Mac OSx, but then I tried playing it on Windows 7 and I was able to finish it (but there were still some places where it crashed). I was testing KMTM on OSx, btw. Sometimes you just need to try another level and go back later.

Well... I seem to be having a bit more success than some, but I could certainly try running it in Win 7 DOSBox... or try it in my 98 virtualbox :pig

Maybe I could actually be arsed to remove those extra monsters I added in a couple maps that could be causing the crashes. Or lass can figure out this mess.

I had no issues running Roib though DOSBox on Linux.
Keening_Product was defeated before the game.

Please do. :(
I love the graphics in the game. And the game itself seems very interesting. Also I may be one of the few people that loves Keen dreams, so this mod interests me a lot.
