It's an old ID cheat, when you do it in Keen 4 (On the map) you get an error too.

I'm actually looking into totally revamping the cheats. Unlock them by pressing F10, then you just have to press the letter. None of this holding two buttons nonsense.

oh yessss! that would be bodacious. these pushing two button thing is nerve-racking. way to circuitous.
but is there a possibility to import this very patch into some older mods/originals? not so sure about that.

Yes, it overwrites the BAT cheat but can be easily ported to any Galaxy game.

I did not know of that game. Oddly enough I have a similar bug, it is possible to gain infinite points and\or crash the game by pushing into a door block in the right way next to a piece of candy.

This mod is really great!! Not one to be ignored in the wake of Atroxian Realm! Next up, we need a Tetris! How about a Keen:Vorticons Tetris?

something weird spotted over here: ran into the bombs, putative died but didn't, map froze, Keen wandered ghostly above ground, level remained unfinished ...

Well now that's curious. Can you recreate it? I'm guessing you triggered the death code, which disables Keen's tile interaction (So dead Keen doesn't die.) but somehow managed to escaped the level reset. That could be a deep bug if common.

yip, yip, it is repeatable on every three difficulties.
I assume it's all about speed. what I did is running into the bombs and try to skitter away a split-second before they actually explode. it is auspicious by choosing an obtuse angle!

Right, interesting. It seems that Keen can trigger tile effects on himself, such as mooning before the tile itself acts on him. It's an intriguing little issue, especially given that it triggers ghost mode in Kubed. Not sure if I'll try and remove it...
