CKTW mini-release.

Here is where to post about the latest Commander Keen fangame or modification you've finished, a new website you've made, or another Keen-related creation.

CKTW mini-release.

Post by GoldenRishi »

CKTW is giving its first beta testing demo. Nah, it's nothing special; but it is a taste of what's to come, so give me your guys opinions.

It's basically just the splash screen, the menu (PRESS SPACE TO SELECT), and it features basic running and jumping in a level:

(problem: garg is useless and will only let three of you guys d/l it per hour. Right now, you cannot get a hold of it, so I'll be on MSN for another 20ish minutes)

With that said, I'll be making another thread soon in the Unofficial forum for this game with new up dates on where this game is going.

Keen moves like he's on ice, including slipping.

Why should he click at random on every picture that appears?

Yeah, I too thought it was a mirror request, and not a mirror provision.

Thanks....

Anyways, thoughts?

The friction problem will be taken care of soon; I'm going to re-programming his running movement, and I'll be increasing gravity and thus friction forces. So he'll slow down a lot faster. (This is kinda extended just to show how the friction will work)

It's great for a gamemaker one.

Do not under estimate Game maker.

Oh and GoldenRishi(aka LordofGlobox)) do you still go on Gmc as PitchBlack444?

BTW Nice engine so far. Yes frictional movement is good.
Forget it.

Pictures speak a thousand words - but only when a link's attached.

jimmy --yes, but I don't frequent GMC very often. Only when I'm having programming troubles.
