Subliminal advertising. Mortimer McMire is trying to subvert the Keen community and enslave them to his will by flashing his name to us. It worked when he did it to the Vorticons, right? Sure, that's a theory.

Personally, I like Speen's logo. The yorp sitting on the sign gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. I think that going for a nice pixelated retro approach would be a very good thing.

Nice changing logo!

I wasn't sure how subtle the change would be, so I was staring intensely at it for a minute or so. Obviously, that was unnecessary.

I think the bolder, more pixelated logos actually look pretty good. The more high-resolution ones are awesome, too, but I agree that the older look would make sense for Commander Keen.

Yeah, I really like the sliding logo. And agreed, I think it would be even better with the larger versions.

I like the idea someone said (maybe several people?) of having a bunch of logos and randomly picking one every time a page loads (?), because there are quite a few good logos here.

Will a customized logo ever be used on this forum?
I just wonder since this subject was so hot when the forum started up but now seems to have died out...
