You can find the 1983 claymation version on popular torrent sites.
Can't seem to find it on YouTube, but here's a clip:
https://youtu.be/8l8ez0zkIiY
The Monty Python one is pretty good. In the US, it's titled "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride".
My favourite rendition is a tie between the 1987 animated Rankin Bass production (this song ALWAYS gets stuck in my head: https://youtu.be/7eVNyMYofkM ) and the 1983 claymation one, though I've yet to see the animated version they produced in the 90's, which even had a sequel called "Willows in the Winter", which I think is actually based on an unofficial sequel book to Kenneth Grahame's classic.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0192802/
Hmm... Both are available on YouTube, apparently.
Wind in the Willows (1995)
https://youtu.be/gtX9ycjUIoE
Willows in the Winter (1996)
https://youtu.be/GP5_k8tSG2c
By the way, what do you think the "moral" or "point" of the book is?
The value of friendship? The dangers of hedonism? Or is it just a silly, fun adventure with talking animals?

Apparently, Super Mario Maker is what Tom Hall was trying to kickstart back in the days.
Here's a video of a level that he made for it: https://youtu.be/3rJz2WdHCIo?t=1h9m57s

Me too. Especially the old steam locomotives.GalaxyEyesPhotonDragon wrote:I want it to be about trains.
Cause I like trains.
I hate how ugly modern passenger trains are. You know, like those really futuristic ones in Tokyo,
or the really tacky Amtrak trains in the US where the interior hasn't been cleaned or updated since the 1980's.
When I was a child, the only theme park I ever liked or cared about
was Train Town in Sonoma County, California. They had a large
railway that went around the park through miniature villages,
and they had multiple engines that would drag the passengers around.
They also had full-size train cars stationary at the entrance of the park,
which still to this day are filled with classic 90's arcade games like
Mortal Kombat and whatnot.
That park is what sparked my interest in trains.
There's actually a local train club that I was wanting to join, where people
get together and talk about their model trains and whatnot.
I have a collection of miniature people and buildings, but I've yet to
get all the actualy train stuff... You know, like the transformer, track,
engine, cars, et cetera.
I've been wanting to start my tiny miniature train village for a long time.
Eventually, my plan is to have the train and track go around my living room and pass through
a designated town area, which will probably be on a mantle or something, and then I can
redecorate my little village for each holiday. (I have Halloween and Christmas pieces for my village.)

Yes the subway system was dingy and dirty, but I actually liked riding trains. And then they redesigned them over the years and the rides were smoother...
Me and my fiance want to try one of those luxury train rides we heard about, where you can ride for days...
Yes Tokyo trains are indeed ugly and don't look all... Fun to ride.
I also found amtrak rides somewhat disappointing, but not entirely.
I remember I had a miniature train set... Didn't last long. Those things don't get very far when you live in a small apartment in New York City...
Someday I'll have one though.
But yes although I was half-referencing asdfmovie I do actually have a fascination for trains. I found them exhilerating when I was little, haven't ridden a train in such a long time...
During my high school years I would actually get up real early in the morning just to ride the train to school. Again, dingy dirty subways but I mainly focused on the ride... Plus one of the trains I normally got to ride was actually the cleanest of the New York City Subway Transit System. It was a looooong ride though, 2 hours, then I had to take a 30 minute bus ride and a 20 minute walk...
Formerly Boreas249.
When I was in college, I went there every day on the train and reduces road through the depot.
And one day I saw an old steam locomotive. It was awesome.
He looks so elegant in comparison with modern locomotives and out of it were huge clouds of steam, larger than himself.
One day I was riding in the wagon, half-covered in blood with one side (not in the interior, exterior). I went to the wagon and wondered why he was half empty, when all the other wagons were jammed packed, sat down on the seat, then wondered why it's so dark, turned head and I understood why so much space... But at the time my legs was so tired, that I didn't care.
Presently I rarely travel by train. Only occasionally to friends or in the garden.

Here is a 20 minute documentary about Sonoma Train Town:

And the website:

I got to visit Train Town for the first time in 13 years in 2013
when I visited my hometown in California.

You only think that because of Hey Arnold, and that's SUBWAYS, not trains.GalaxyEyesPhotonDragon wrote:You are eeeeviiiiiilll o.OScarletFlame wrote:I hate asdfmovieGalaxyEyesPhotonDragon wrote:I want it to be about trains.
