Haha, nice work on the table.

It would ruin the joke, but you could have the first ones like this: Image

Did you know that the No Clip cheat was first introduced in Commander Keen? I didn't knew. Here's an interesting video talking about no clipping:

Oh wow, I didn't know the No-Clipping cheat was introduced in Commander Keen either! I also didn't know that the A+2+Enter debug activation also had an actual meaning. :-O

That cheat codes thing is pretty interesting. Creative Tom God, lol.
One thing doesn't quite make sense though. If keyboards back then couldn't register more than one key being pressed on each row (as stated by the video), then how was G + O + D supposed to work? G and D are on the same row. :confused

I guess it's safe to say the id team didn't use your keyboard. 8)

It's possible that G+O+D doesn't work on some keyboards, depending on the design of the keyboard's circuit board and whatnot.

I suspect it's due to design differences between mechanical and membrane keyboards. I'm not sure which is more prone to "ghosting", which is when multiple keys being pressed at once won't all register (I just know I picked my current mechanical partly because of anti-ghosting), but that's likely the issue.

The mechanism which completes the circuit shouldn't be relevant, surely. My understanding is it was the limitations of the board's brain which saw keys being grouped.
