Got a new PC built thanks to some parts a friend generously gave me. It's beautiful. It's shiny. The case actually has cable management and airflow. It runs like a dream.

It has a very modern look to it, I particularly like the see-thru part that lets you see how it's put together

Thanks! The glass panel is a big part of why I got that case actually - I like to look in and see the inner workings. I'm eventually going for a full RGB build; just need RAM, an SSD, and a power supply (yes they do all come in pretty light-up format. I swear I'm a human magpie sometimes.)

Make sure whatever RGB SSD you go for isn't one of the ones which runs super hot because of the lights. Gamers Nexus has a video on this iirc.

I was looking into TeamGroup Delta; good reviews overall, never seen anything hinting at heating issues, and quite affordable. Heard anything about them?

Perhaps the source modders could find hitherto unfathomable patches using this equipment...

Can't say I've ever used a physical device like that, the first time I was introduced to that type of thing was Cheat Engine and/or a gamecube region block bypass CD

I use Team memory and a friend of mine who runs a computer shop uses it in all their builds - can't speak to their SSDs directly, but they seem a solid budget manufacturer. Just make sure whatever you go for has a DRAM cache - relative to the cost of the drive it's nothing but the speed improvment is very noticeable. (Apparently - I've not seen a DRAM-less one in action.)

Excellent. I actually have one of their non-RGB SSDs and I've been very pleased with its performance, which is why I wanted to stick with them, so I'll do exactly that.

Just gotta get the funds saved up for it now, lol.
