I got 12... at first I was all like "garg" but then... okay that's grand! And yes I'd a feeling I did worst on the blue-greens.

I wonder if this test is easier on a laptop LCD vs an old CRT. I was using the former, and found that tilting the screen relative to my eyes did not help. In fact, the screen and my eyes started playing tricks on me and making the colours look like they were gradients. Really cool test, wiivn.

I got a 14. Had extreme luck guessing which hues were slightly darker I guess.

11, at least it wasn't 99.

Oddly the range for my age and gender was -10486 to 444445389

The hey does that work?

CRT screens are actually better for this, as they have much brighter and better looking colors. I miss my CRT.

It is surely possible to live with a limited color vision; I'm sure about that.

Since the current environment has "invited" me to do so, though, I have taken the test and...

Well, I have clicked on "Score Test", seen the result, but... Where *is* the numerical score printed?

Well, there is a little trick that should help ones pass the test with a better score than one can pass the test without it. But, only if ones ask for that...

...ok ok. Once you think a row of colors is sorted, check it as follows. For every three consecutive colors, swap the right two. If the middle one stands out of the three after swapping, this is a good sign that you should swap these two rightmost colors *back* to their previous locations. Otherwise, the answer may be unclear. It may be clear, too.

12. That test was exhausting and badly designed. Having to drag and drop 50 blocks.

Should I feel ashamed that I've been to that page before Para linked it?

Oh please, I had the book that site was based on.

My colour score was 8. Clearly I am of the master race and am better than every single one of you at absolutely everything.

The big concern with this test is it relies on your having a well calibrated monitor. I'm amazed the one I did the test on was as good as it was - I had a choice of two screens and the other was bloody terrible.

That test took a while. It scored me a 0! Was a nice self esteem boost today.
Had to copy and paste the 2 results screens together. Since it's flash based.

I thought birds were the only tetrachromats (and that Chacal guy from In The Courts of the Sun, which was total BS).

I didn't read the article yet.

I agree. I miss the warm glow that they had, as opposed to the static, clinical appearance of LCDs and LEDs.
