Obligatory Graduation Thread
At great expense in housing and tuition, whiskey and cigarettes, [something] and [something].. I've finally graduated from university and am finally done with school...At least until my work pressures me into pursuing a Master's or something.
It's a major relief to be done with school shenanigans. Which now leaves me more Keen time to help with any projects I've jumped on board with -- at least while I'm on my job hunt.
So yeah, cheers for me, and cheers for all those who encouraged me throughout my college life. Thanks!

Congrats, Mr. M. I hope things go well for you.
Speaking of Keen, maybe you'd like to take a look at some of those Atroxian Realm songs? I could use some help revising those for the IMF format.

How's the job market in your field? I hope you don't have too much student debt._mr_m_ wrote:At great expense in housing and tuition, whiskey and cigarettes, [something] and [something].. I'm graduating debt-free. I've been able to pay off my bills at the start of each semester. I've had a few interviews so far...I think a lot of U.S companies are waiting to see what the government does about this 'fiscal cliff' of whatnot.Scarlet wrote:

after all these years of tacking cgea cert 1 it is done all that time and study has payed off. i hope to finish level 2 in 6 more months time so i am going to defer graduation if the tafe will allow me to. i am going in to a enrollment day of the 4th of feb for which i will need to take that monday off work which will not be a problem. just tell my supervisor and the manager and they will allow it, just think once school is completely finished, i can consider dumping food bank to bump up my working week to 33 hours. the board has said to me that if i ever need to return to food bank in future i will be allowed to however i do not see any chance of me returning to food bank i have been doing it a long time and i want to move on
