I'm generally afraid of spiders but I have a pet tarantula who's super fluffy and cute and I hold her sometimes and everything. Picture may be forthcoming

If you post a picture, just let me know if you want it added at the top

heh serious? i got a 'spider chart' on my fridge and they put the whitetail in the same league as redbacks and funnelwebs.
or maybe theres some sort of new zealand version thats not as deadly.
Used to be that whitetails were associated with arachnogenic necrosis, which is indeed quite nasty and while not inherently lethal, certainly not fun. However, a study has shown that whitetails don't actually cause it. They're still venomous and getting bitten by one isn't recommended, but not liable to kill you.
Thanks, Wikipedia!

Aaah, you mean the *Australian* version; those are deadly, it's a legal requirement. Even your thistles will give you rabies if you stand on them.
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.

Maybe he's in keen 1 and just hasn't picked the rest up?
After releasing him back into the wild, he proceeded to rummage in the neighbor's garbage for soup cans. Last seen on his way to mars
Here's a pet he calls spot:
