She's back

Post by Levellass »

Would have been back sooner but took an unscheduled roll down a hill while biking. It'll take a few days to settle back in but... yeah.

Now to catch up with everything.

Hot Dagn, she's back!

Also, if it still applies, I hope bike injuries have ceased being injuries already.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. That explains the inactivity, heh. Looking forward to your catching up on - ahem - some things.

I had a rather graceful fall apparently, a sort of somersault-slide. The upshot was not any severe kind of breaking injuries, just the loss of a lot of skin. (And chaos in the home as things like dishes had to be done by people other than me.)

I'm still a little pink but recovering with speed.

I'll bet.

The computer went together quite nicely actually. I'd post pictures, but who really wants to see power cords held together with glue?

Could you hold the mid-air somersault pose, please? I have a great idea for my title screen pic...

Well it wasn't aerial you see. What happened was I was going down a steep hill and braked. The front brakes worked but the back ones didn't because the rear wheel is all bent. So I was skidding forward with the bike slowly flipping over on top of me, then we both skidded some more all the way down the hill. It was less a crash and more of a painful slide.
